S1/2 Courses
ICT
CfE courses in S1 cover Level 3 experiences and outcomes in Technologies and Social Studies. Currently pupils in S1 have 2 periods per week within the faculty following an ICT course which is based on the context of planning a wedding.
Pupils in S2 have 2 periods per week within the faculty where they undertake an integrated course encompassing aspects of Business, ICT and Computing Science experiences and outcomes at Levels 3/4.
Food and Textile Technology
The CfE course in S1 and S2 covers level 3 and 4 experiences and outcomes in Technologies and Health and Wellbeing. Pupils have 2 periods per week in the Faculty following a Food and Textiles course.
S3/S4 Courses
Business and Computing Science
The Faculty offers three subjects for S3 and S4 pupils in these curricular areas.
In S3 pupils are covering experiences and outcomes at Level 3 and 4 in Technologies and Social Studies. In S4 pupils will be presented for National Qualifications at National 3 – 5 as appropriate to their individual progress. The S3 courses are designed to offer progression into the following National Qualifications;
• Administration & IT
• Business Management
Food and Textile Technology
Currently the Faculty offers two subjects for S3 and S4 pupils in this curricular area.
In S3 pupils are covering Level 3 and 4 experiences and outcomes in Technologies and Health and Wellbeing. • Hospitality: Practical Cookery
• Health and Food Technology (National 5 only)

The following courses are currently available for pupils to study in S5/6 in the Business and Creative Technologies Faculty.
• Administration and IT
• Business Management
• Computing Science
• Hospitality – Practical Cake Craft
In most subjects, pupils in S5/6 can study the courses at National 5 or Higher depending on their previous performance. To study the Higher level course, pupils must gain a National 5 level pass in the appropriate course. S6 pupils who have not studied the subject previously will be considered on an individual basis.
